Hoover Dam

The Hoover Dam is a spectacular sight. Standing at 220m (726ft) high, 379 wide and weighing some 6.6 million tons, the Dam is a structural marvel. It may be a short distance from central Las Vegas but it's well worth the trip. Besides, the longer you're outside the city, the less money you'll be losing in the casinos!
