Choose a county

by Paula May

Lincolnshire is one of the least changed counties in England. Much of the Eastern county looks exactly as it did hundreds of years ago. But what attractions does the county have to offer? In no particular order, here are our suggestions for things to do in Lincolnshire:

Skegness Seal Sanctuary, Skegness

A wonderful day out for all the family, Skegness Seal Sanctuary is perhaps the best loved attraction in Lincolnshire. As well as seals, you can see penguins, reptiles and a variety of exotic birds. Admission is £4.95 for adults and £3.25 for children from 10am to 5pm in in June through September and 10am to 4pm in October through to March. For further details call 01754 764345 or visit www.skegnessnatureland.co.uk

Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve, nr Skegness

Gibraltar Point is a stretch of stunning Lincolnshire coastal countryside with a rich diversity of animal and plant life. A great place to enjoy the simple pleasures of mother nature. For more information call 01507 526667 or go to www.lincstrust.org.uk
