All you need to know about home swaps

Continued from page 1

And now we'll bring you back down to earth with the drawbacks of home swaps:

Bad Points

- you're handing over the keys of your house and car to almost a complete stranger

- it can be difficult to find a swap partner who wants to travel on the exact dates you do

- you may spend much of your holiday wondering what your swap partners are getting up to in your house

- although it is very rare, you could come home to find you house and possessions haven't been treated with due care

So do the good points outweigh the bad? Probably, but it depends very much on your character. If you're house proud and prone to worry then this probably isn't something for you. But if you're the type of person who likes to try something different and who loves to save themselves stacks of cash, home swapping might be right up your street.
