If you want to enjoy the great outdoors, you'll struggle to find a better destination than Cumbria. Here are our some of our favourite attractions in this glorious region: Lake District
South Lakes Animal Park, Dalton-in-Furness South Lakes Animal Park is one of the best wild animal sites in Northern England with a real focus on conservation and the protection of endangered species. Entry to the animal park is currently £9.50 for adults and £6 for the kids from 10am till 5pm seven days a week. The park closes half an hour earlier at 4.30pm in the winter. Holker Hall, Ulverston This Victorian house is one of the grandest in all of Cumbria. However the building is equally matched its stunning grounds. Holker Hall is also the home of the Lakeland Motor Museum which is a great attraction in itself. Admisision to Holker is £9.25 for adults and £5.50 for children from March through to December.
