However, there is much more to this county than its impressive seat of learning. There are a wealth of things to do for people of all ages with cathedrals, museums and majestic estates to enjoy. Cambridge University Botanic Garden With well over ten thousand species of plants, Cambridge University Botanic Garden is one of the county's best loved attractions. Admission is £2.50 for adults and £2 for the children every day from 10am to 5pm. The garden closes a little earlier in the winter months. Anglesey Abbey, Lode Anglesey Abbey is a fine Jacobean-style country house with a wonderful collection of treasures, surrounded by lovely gardens. Entry to the abbey is currently £7 for adults and £3.50 for the kids every day from 10.30am till 5.30pm. In the winter, the Abbey closes a little earlier at 4.30pm.
