Bath Abbey The Anglo-Saxon church on this site was replaced by a massive Norman cathedral, and then by the present structure, built in the by Bishop Oliver King built the current Bath Abbey in early 16th century, replacing the Norman cathedral that stood before. Highlights of this impressive building include the magnificent West Front with its marvelous stained glass. Thermae Bath Spa
The Circus This area north of Gay Street is an architectural marvel with a perfectly circular street of Georgian townhouses, whose diameter matches that of Stonehenge. This is arguably the most famous setting in Bath. If you go to Bath, it's a must see. |
