Whether you're choosing a dress off the rack or having one made just for you, follow these tips and make your dream come true. Seven Steps to Heaven: 1. Start looking early - some dresses can take up to six months to order 2. Do as much research as you can - look in bridal magazines, search the internet and shop around.
4. Choose the most flattering style for your body shape 5. Make sure your dress is coordinated with the ceremony 6. Pay the deposit with a credit card - ensure a full refund if the dress isn't ready in time
7. Allocate time and money for alterations - they can increase the price
