peril
A wise, if somewhat crass, man once said, "assumption is the
mother of all cock ups." He wasn't wrong, practically when
it comes to married life.
Above all else, communication is they key to a happy marriage.
And in many ways, assumption is the polar opposite of communication.
By not talking or asking questions, you're decision making process
becomes based on little more than a guess. And a wrong guess in
married life invariably leads to an argument or disagreement.
Sometimes it is safe to assume we know what your partner wants.
After all you know them probably better than anyone else on the
planet.
But you should always think about the potential consequences of
your actions first.
