The right conversation
Talking about yourself all night is not going to win any prizes. You need to ask him questions but make sure they're the right questions. You want to find out things about him but you don't want to make it seem like an interview. Try to find questions that will make him give more than a five second answer.

It's also worthwhile to make sure you're up to date with some of the major events taking place in the world. This can be a great conversation starter and make a change from talking about yourself.

And remember, major events don't always necessarily mean important events. The latest celebrity scandal is just as interesting to some people as the latest developments in the Middle East.

Think carefully about what you wear
Careful consideration should be given to your date outfit. If you wear something revealing that leaves little to the imagination, he may get the wrong idea. Whereas if you dress like an old lady, he'll think that's exactly what you are. Balance is needed - not too sexy but not too boring. You want him to be interested in seeing you again but not just for one thing.
