However, there are three very costly areas you should always be aware of when viewing a house:- The Roof. This could be the sign of structural problems ahead particularly if they're on the exterior. Although these areas will be checked in your survey, you should be looking out for them yourself when you view the property. Time and money can be saved by having a thorough look around. There's nothing worse than thinking you have found the perfect house only to then read the surveyors report of a faulty roof and damp throughout the house. The Final Thought Buying a house is one of the most exciting processes you will ever experience. You are moving on, entering a new stage of your life. However, you need to make sure this new stage is as good as it can be and a pile of regrets aren't looming around the corner. You can't guarantee you're buying the right house but by giving it plenty thought you can give yourself a great chance. |
