Style Tip 52. Terrific tones

Although dressing from head to toe in the same colour can be a little severe, there is nothing wrong with using different tones of the same colour.

Indeed, dressing tonally can create an elegant, sophisticated look which also gives the appearance of a taller, slimmer body.

However, just make sure the tones you choose actually compliment one another.

Just because they emanate from the same base colour doesn't necessarily mean you can wear them together.
