Style Tip 74. Think twice about a tattoo

Thinking of getting a tattoo? Please, please think again or at least think long and hard before taking the plunge.

Celebrities love to adorn themselves with skin art and, admittedly, it can sometimes look great.

But in most cases, particularly when you're not a megastar, tattoos look anything but.

Not only are they expensive (assuming you use a reputable tattooist) but there are so many less severe ways to express yourself.

And then of course, there's the fact that a tattoo is always for life and not just for Christmas.

Okay, laser technology can remove most of the offending design but you'll still be left with a nasty scar.

Is it really worth all the hassle?
