Style Tip 33. Quilted jackets

Sometimes fashion can be a tricky little so and so.

It lures you in with promises of style and sophistication but leaves you looking like a dog's dinner.

The current penchant for quilted jackets is a prime example.

We think we look great in them but in actual fact we look like the Michelin man's slightly misguided wife.

If you must wear a quilted coat, always choose a slim fitting style that doesn't make you look too puffy.

Also the smaller you are, the less body size you have to absorb this type of padded garment.

Indeed, if you are on the short side, you're probably best to avoid them altogether.
