How on earth can I keep my children constantly entertained?

Children get bored very easily these days. Keeping your little ones constantly entertained is no mean feat.

But you must really try your best to do so because a bored child soon become a problem child. If a child is busy doing something she is far less likely to misbehave or get up to any mischief. With this in mind here are four great tips to help keep you kids happy and contented:

Television
Too much television isn't healthy for children but that's not to say tv should be banned altogether. Indeed, television and video can play an important part in your child's growth and development. It's a wonderful way for children to learn new things and experience aspects of life they wouldn't otherwise do so.

Toys
Not every parent can afford all the latest toys and gadgets to keep their child amused. But you really don't need to. Children can have fun with even the most mundane of objects. What's important is to always give them something to play with, whether it be a colouring book or just some old pots and pans.

Space to play
Kids need space to play, space to run around and space to burn energy. Try to create an area in your house or garden where they can really let their hair down.

Involve them in your housework
Even if you haven't got the time or desire to play with your kids, you can still keep them entertained by involving them in your household tasks. Give them a duster to help you dust the house or let them mix the ingredients you are using to make dinner with. This not only keeps your child occupied but it also strengthens the bond between the two of you.
