Jessie Wallace joins the cast drama Wild At Heart

Former EastEnders star Jessie Wallace has joined the cast of the ITV drama series Wild At Heart.

The popular actress, who played Kat Slater on the Albert Square for five years, will replace Amanda Holden in the role of Sarah Trevanion.

Holden quit the show in order to spend more time with partner Chris Hughes and their one-year-old daughter Alexa.

Jessie flew out to South Africa last week to begin filming for the show's third series.

A source revealed:
