Emmerdale is to welcome two new faces in April, actors Duncan
Preston and Paula Wilcox.
The new pair will play Douglas and Hillary Potts, the parents
of Laurel Potts
Series producer, Kathleen Beedles, is delighted with the show's
latest acquisitions:
"We are thrilled to welcome Duncan and Paula to the cast.
They bring an enormous amount of acting experience with them and
viewers will be gripped by their dramatic arrival."
Duncan Preston's long career includes roles in Victoria Wood comedies
such as Acorn Antiques and Dinnerladies. He also appeared in 12
episodes of Coronation Street as character Dennis Stokes.
Paula Wilcox is probably best known for her role in 1970s sitcom
Man About The House although she has also appeared in Casualty,
Peak Practice and Footballers Wives.
