Neighbours favourite Patrick Harvey, who plays loveable Irishman Connor, is to leave the Australian soap.
The likeable actor will film his final scenes at the end of February, although they won't be broadcast in the UK until several months later.
Patrick's announcement comes just a matter of weeks after his friend and co-star Blair McDonough, who plays Stu on the long running soap, announced he was quitting the show.
Patrick has decided to leave Erinsborough to take on new challenges and to further himself as an actor. He said, "You can't stay because it's a security blanket... It's almost like when people stay in relationships just because it's comfortable. You can't do that. You've got to get out there and see what happens. I'm looking forward to it."
Patrick has loved his time on Ramsay Street and admits he will be sad to say goodbye. The Irish star said, " There are elements of fear and there are elements of sadness because you know, you come here and have a laugh. You get along with everyone. It's going to be weird... It's been like a dream sequence the whole time which has been fantastic."
