Is Amy Winehouse heading back into rehab?
Monday 12th March 2007
British jazz singer Amy Winehouse could end up back in rehab in the next few
days.
Her father, Mitch Winehouse has been reported revealing that his talented
daughter isn't coping well after her recent break-up with boyfriend Alex
Claire.
But he also believes her current workload is simply too much for her
to handle.
Mitch told a Sunday newspaper, "I'm not ruling out rehab. Amy needs
a break. They don't send you to rehab just because you've broken up with
someone."
"There are other things. Amy needs a rest. Her workload is absolutely
manic. She's an emotional girl. Her schedule has caused problems with
Alex. He wants to see her."
"I don't know if that's the reason for the break-up - but wouldn't
you want to see your boyfriend now and again?"
Amy is a jazz and soul singer/songwriter from North London. Her debut
album, Frank was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize and she won an
Ivor Novello award in 2004 for her debut single Stronger Than Me. In 2006
her second album Back to Black lead to a Brit award for Best British Female
in 2007.
