Jennifer Ellison dumps boyfriend after cheating reports

Jennifer Ellison has dumped her boyfriend of six years, after reports over the weekend that he has been cheating on her.

The former Brookside star was shocked to learn that Tony Richardson has been having an affair with Shalimar Wimble, a former girlfriend of England footballer John Terry.

They are believed to have started seeing one another after meeting in a London club one month ago.

Jennifer has said:

"My relationship with Tony Richardson is over. He has betrayed me in the worst possible way. This girl is welcome to him and I hope they are both very happy."

Jennifer's mother Jane said:

"Thank God he is out of her life at last. She has loyally stood by him over the years and he has rubbed her face in it. She was even there waiting for him when he came out of jail, and this is how he repays her. It's a case of goodbye and good riddance."
