Britney Spears finishes her rehab course

Troubled American pop star Britney Spears has left a Californian rehabilitation clinic after completing a one month course of treatment.

The 25-year-old checked in to the Promises Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Treatment Facility in Malibu in February after deciding to have all her hair shaved off.

Britney's manager Larry Rudolph has asked for everyone to give her a little space to get her life back in order. He says:

"We ask that the media respects her privacy as well as those of her family and friends at this time."

In November 2006 Spears filed for divorce from second husband Kevin Federline citing irreconcilable differences. The couple have two sons; Sean Preston and Jayden James.

Britney has sold over 75m albums since her debut releasing her first record ...Baby One More Time in 1999.
