Ewan is pretty much just a regular guy. A regular guy who just happens to be a multi millionaire movie star. He doesn’t seem too interested in sculpting his body and very few of the roles he plays require it. He’s not going to be the next action hero so he doesn’t really need a six pack and bulging biceps.

Ewan is very much similar to fellow actors Harrison Ford and Mel Gibson. He's tremendously likeable and prefers to keep his personal life far away from the glare of the celebrity spotlight. His wife of ten years Eve Mavrakis and their two children are never in papers or magazines because Ewan wants them to live a normal life without the potential poisons that fame brings.

Ewan has successfully combined blockbuster movies such as the recent Star Wars trilogy with more, shall we say, serious roles in films such as Moulin Rouge! (2001). He has managed that rare feat of becoming popular with the public and respected by the critics. If he carries on in the same manner, Oscars and Golden Globes are a distinct possibility.
