| Eric Bana Biography Eric Banadinovich was born in Melbourne, Australia on August 9th 1968 to a Croatian father and German mother. He studied acting at the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney before making his name as a comedian on Australian television in Full Frontal (1993) and Eric (1996-1997).
After exhausting the possibilities of Aussie comedy, Eric transformed himself to play the lead role in the critically acclaimed movie Chopper (2000). His performance caught the eye of the movers and shakers in Hollywood and he was soon on his way to America.
In 2001 he appeared in Ridely Scott's Black Hawk Down (2001) and then voiced the character of Anchor in Finding Nemo (2003). Eric continued his remarkable rise first with The Hulk (2003) and then Troy (2004) opposite Brad Pitt. In just a few short steps, he has established himself as one of Hollywood's biggest stars. It just goes to show, you never know what's around the corner.
