Emmerdale bad boy Cain Dingle is set to leave thee Yorkshire village in the autumn.
The sexy soap character, played by Jeff Hordley, will be written out of the show in a dramatic storyline. However, the door will be left open for the popular star to return at some point in the future.
Jeff is leaving Emmerdale to purse other projects but he has thoroughly enjoyed his time as soap villain Cain. He says, "I've had a great time and feel privileged to have had so many fantastic storylines. But after six years playing Cain I am keen to try other projects."
Cain's final episodes in Emmerdale are believed to involve him seeking revenge on Debbie for giving up his granddaughter. However, nothing has been confirmed, or at least announced, as yet.
