Albert Square will soon be welcoming a brand new character - Stacey Slater's long-lost brother.
This latest addition to the BBC soap is set to replace recently departed Dennis Rickman (Nigel Harman) as the Albert Square heartthrob.
Eastenders bosses are keen to build on the popularity of Stacey, who is played by actress Lacey Turner, by giving her character more meaty storylines to sink her teeth into. They're hoping she can become the leading lady of Albert Square, much like Kat Slater before her.
But Stacey’s brother is not only surprising arrival in Albert Square. Grant and Phil Mitchell are in line for a shock when their half-brother turns up. The new Mitchell is a result of an affair Grant and Phil's father had whilst he was married to their mum, Peggy.
