| Duncan James Biography Duncan Matthew James was born in Salisbury, England on April 7th 1978. He had a love for music from a young age but dreamt instead of being an actor. He studied A Level Drama at college and it was during this period he decided he would rather be a singer after all.
He worked at Haven holiday resort when he was eighteen and shortly afterwards formed a friendship with fellow aspiring pop star Antony Costa. The boys were then joined by Lee Ryan and Simon Webbe and the pop group Blue was formed.
On May 2001 Blue released their debut single, All Rise. It went straight to number one in the UK charts and the hits just kept coming. By 2005 the boys had two number one albums, three number one singles and two BRIT Awards, selling over 5 million albums and 2.9 million singles. |
