Australian heartthrob Kip Gamblin is set to join the staff at Holby City Hospital on the BBC drama series Casualty.

The former Home and Away star, who played Scott Hunter in Aussie soap, will join the medical team in June as new paramedic Greg Fallon.

Kip is more than happy to be leaving behind the sunshine of Summer Bay to join the ranks of Casualty. He said "I'm thrilled to be working on a British show."

Thirty year old Kip is a trained ballet dancer and traveled the world in various productions, before turning his attention to acting. As well as Home and Away, Kip has also appeared in the movies Kick and Moulin Rouge.
