| Brad Pitt Biography William Bradley Pitt was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma on December 18th 1963. He studied journalism at the University of Missouri before moving to California to purse his dreams of becoming an actor. Like many aspiring actors he had to support himself in any which way he could. The highlight of his numerous jobs was to dress as a giant chicken to for the fast food company el Pollo Loco.
After four years of small roles in instantly forgettable movies and television shows, Brad's big break when he was cast as sexy J.D in Thelma & Louise (1991). Hollywood had suddenly found their latest hot property.
In the years that followed, Brad's reputation as an actor and movie star grew with roles in movies such as Johnny Suede (1991), Interview With The Vampire (1994) and Legends of the Fall (1994). He received an Academy Award nomination for his performance in Twelve Monkeys
(1995) and a few years later starred in one of the films of the decade, Fight Club (1999).
