Comedy actor Simon Day is due to make a guest appearance on TheBill.
The Fast Show star, who is believed to be a fan of the show, can be seen on the ITV police programme on Thursday 18th May.
The episode will also feature former Eastenders actress HannahWaterman who played Laura Beale from 2000 to 2004.
In recent years Simon has also made cameos in in EastEnders and Casualty.
In 2004, he appeared in Albert Square as a taxi driver in the episode where Alfie was kicked out of the Queen Vic by Dirty Den.
Simon can currently be seen in the Powergen adverts which sponsor the national weather on ITV.
