Ashton Kutcher Biography

Christopher Ashton Kutcher was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on the February 7th 1978. He studied Biochemical Engineering at the University of Iowa before dropping out to become a male model in 1997.

His good looks took him to New York where he soon decided to try to make the step from modeling to acting. He quickly won the role of Michael Kelso in a new NBC television show called That 70's Show. The retro comedy series became a huge success and Ashton became on overnight star.

Ashton then moved into the world of movies with appearances in films such as Down to You (2000) and Reindeer Games (2000). However, it was his performance in the comedy Dude, Where's My Car? (2000) that established him as one of Hollywood's hottest young stars.

Since then he has appeared in a string of successful comedy movies including Just Married (2003), My Boss's Daughter (2003) and Guess Who (2005). The future looks bright for the floppy haired kid from Cedar Rapids.
