The Eastenders Dogs
No, we're not talking about some of the less attractive female members of the cast. We mean the actual four legged fellows. Albert Square has been host to a wide variety of mutts, pooches and canines, and here they all are:
- Roly, a Poodle, owned by Den Watts, Pat Butcher and Frank Butcher, and Sharon Watts (1985-1993)
- Willy, a Pug, owned by Ethel Skinner (1985-1992)
- Ernie, Ethel's Pug replacement for Willy.
- unspecified puppy, owned by David Wicks and Sam Mitchell (1996)
- Freida, a Greyhound, owned by Grant Mitchell and Nigel Bates
- Wellard, a Tervuren Belgian Shephard Dog, owned originally by Robbie Jackson and later by Gus Smith (1994-present)
- Terrence, a Lhasa Apso, owned by Billy Mitchell, Janine Butcher, Terry Raymond, Pat Evans and Honey Edwards (2001-present)
- Genghis, mongrel owned by Keith and Rosie Miller (2004-present)
- Betty, a Cairn Terrier, owned by Pauline Fowler (2004-present)
- Chips, a present to Ian Beale from his partner Jane Collins and children Peter and Lucy (2006-present)
- Dalgliesh, Jack Edwards' dog (2006-present)
