The eDiets plan is an online diet program of weight loss through a healthy, balanced diet. It is essentially the same as Weight Watchers but with online meetings rather than face to face meetings. There is also a wider variety of weight-loss methods and a greater availability of professional advice.

What are the benefits?

- it is private and convenient; you do it when you like from the comfort of your own home
- each diet plan is personizled to fit your unique needs
- you can interact with other members and ask advise from the experts
- focuses on a healthy, balanced diet so no food groups are prohibited
- suitable for vegetarians

What are drawbacks?

- not suitable for people who desire in person contact as part of their program
- only available for people connected to the internet
- long term results are the goal so not appropriate for those who want fast weight loss

Should I try it?

Much like Weight Watchers, this is a diet plan that everyone should try. It will not be for everyone but it does encourage the best form of weight loss - a healthy, balance diet leading to long term results.
