First things first - what exactly is a bundled broadband product?
Well, a bundle is a combination of two or more similar products or services
to form a new product.
For example, you can choose a broadband and telephone bundle where you
pay one company for both your internet service and all your telephone
calls.
The two main advantages of a bundle service is that it can be considerably
cheaper and it's also much more convenient to handle from a billing and
servicing point of view.
There are currently over 50 broadband providers in the UK offering a
combined broadband/phone bundled package so there are real bargains to
be had.
Companies are even offering ‘free broadband’ or ‘free
phone calls’ to get customers to sign up to their latest package.
However, there are now even bigger bundles available and therefore even
more money to be saved.
Combined broadband, phone, TV and mobile packages are now on offer at
increasingly low prices.
So everyone should choose the biggest bundle they can find?
The answer is probably yes, but only if you really need, and will honestly
use, all the services the package offers.
And please, please, please read the package contract carefully.
Make sure you know what you're signing up to.
