Dry
Women with dry skin are lucky because they'll never have to powder their nose. However, that is where their good fortune ends.

Dry skin can be feel like curse. It can sometimes feel like your face is never happy. Indeed, in some instances you skin can be so unhappy it decides to start flaking off.

Women with dry skin are also at particular risk from UVA rays emitted by the sun. The sun dries out a dry complexion even further causing flaking and permanent fine lines. When on holiday, always use a high factor sun screen and moisturise your face as often as it needs. Also drink plenty water to help hydrate your skin from the inside as well.

Normal/dry
Although with this in between state you can be susceptible to the problems of dry skin, your face is generally able to manage itself.

However, you must always maintain a daily moisturising routine. Your skin will quickly deteriorate if you become lazy.

Care is also needed when on holiday because the UV light from the sun encourage the dry side of your skin to come out to play. Use a high factor sun screen to keep it locked away.

Normal
The holy grail of skin - not too dry, not too oily, just right. If you are blessed with normal skin you have a lot more leeway than everyone else. You don't have to constantly monitor the dryness of your skin and you don't have to regularly scan for oily shine.

However, you still have to take care of your skin. You face can become dry in certain conditions and you certainly aren't immune to an oily outbreak. Fortunately, when these events do occur, your skin will quickly return to it's normal self with a little cleanser and moisturiser.
