But how do you get this graceful grey? Check out these four fabulous tips...

Grey hair can be still be full and shiny.

Hair ages just like skin. It becomes thinner and less manageable over time. The body gradually produces less and less sebum which helps condition your hair. By the time you start going grey your hair will be crying out for a helping hand. Specially designed shampoos, conditioners and treatments are available in almost every store that sells hair products. These will help soften your hair thus making it more manageable as adding the shine and volume that you once took for granted.

Keep away those yellow tones

Grey hair emphasizes any damage caused by smoke or pollution. Your natural colour effectively disguises these yellow tones but when you turn grey you lose this masking effect. Fortunately you can find numerous products at you local supermarket to help with this very problem.

Colour with care

Most women will want to resist going grey and that means one thing: hair dye. Millions of women dye their hair to reduce the signs of aging so there is no reason to feel any embarrassment about it. However, this doesn't mean you shouldn't take great care when doing so. We've all seen the woman in the street with hair that screams out "I dye my hair."Ideally you should visit a good salon to have a professional colour your hair properly. But you can easily do it yourself to almost equally high level. But if you are going to do it at home makes sure you choose a quality, gentle product and always use the same or similar as your natural hair colour.

Feed your hair

Once you hair turns grey it needs added nutrients more than ever. Vitamins, minerals and proteins are all essential for healthy hair. Most of these should be derived from the food you eat but you can give yourself a boost by using shampoos enriched with vitamins. Massaging your scalp massage whilst shampooing is also recommended as this will stimulate the blood vessels carrying oxygen and nutrients to the hair follicles.
